Set up a new phone without a store appointment
Keep the old phone charged and nearby until the transfer finishes. Start the manufacturer’s transfer tool before you sign out of the old phone. Photos that live only in a camera roll, not in a cloud album, need the cable transfer. After the new phone is on Wi-Fi, sign into mail and the two apps you use for work. Leave the old phone signed in for a day so you can confirm nothing is missing.
