Indoor cameras and ordinary privacy

Point them at doors and rooms the household agreed on. Say that they are there.
Where
Entry doors, a main room you asked to watch, and a pet area are the usual indoor spots. Bedrooms and bathrooms are not. We will decline a placement that hides a camera from people who live in the house.
Guests deserve a household that is not secretly recording a sofa. Place cameras where a person can see the device.
The settings
Turn off features you do not want, such as a microphone, if the app allows it. We show you the toggle. Name the camera so a shared alert is not ambiguous.
Cloud recording and local recording have different failure modes. We set the one you chose and test one clip.
Access
Share the app with the adults who need it. Remove accounts when someone moves out. That cleanup is part of a careful install, and you can ask for it on a later checkup.
We do not keep a login to your camera account after the visit.
