Where to hang a TV so the room still works
Sit where you watch. The middle of the screen should land near eye level, not near the ceiling. Check sunlight on that wall in the afternoon before you drill. A tilt mount helps when the TV has to sit higher, such as over a fireplace, but it does not fix a screen that is too far above the seating. Measure the TV with its stand off, then confirm the mount’s weight rating is above the TV’s listed weight. If the wall is brick, plaster, or a fireplace, say so when you book so the technician brings the right anchors.
