Hiding one HDMI run without an electrician

A raceway or a brush plate is enough for one cable. A new outlet is not our scope.
What can be hidden
Signal cables can use a surface raceway painted to the wall, or a short in-wall kit when the path is a single bay with no pipes in the way. We look before we cut. One HDMI from the TV to a console below is the usual job.
Power is not the same cable. We plug into an outlet that already exists. Adding an outlet is an electrician. A mount visit does not become electrical work halfway through.
The kit
The in-wall cable kit includes brush plates for one run. It is the right product when the TV and the gear are on the same wall and the space between them is clear. It is the wrong product when the path crosses a fireplace or a concrete column.
If the cord must stay visible, a paintable raceway is honest and removable. Hidden is not the only professional look.
Booking
Say you want concealment when you book the mount so the kit is on the truck. Adding it after the TV is up means a second visit.
Photograph the outlet you plan to use. If it is across the room, the plan changes before anyone drills.
