Extends a compatible system you already own. It does not adopt a stranger's router.
Who it is for
The mesh add-on node extends a compatible mesh system you already own. If your app lists add-on nodes for that model, this is the conversation. Bring the model name when you book.
It will not mesh with a random router from another brand. If that is what you own, a new Wi-Fi setup with one system is the honest product, not this node.
Placement
We put it where it still hears the main router, often a hallway, then spot-check the weak room. A node buried in the dead room stays a quiet night light.
Wired backhaul is a bonus when a cable already exists. We do not fish a new one as part of the node price.
Wi-Fi 7 context
Most U.S. homes in early 2026 were still not on Wi-Fi 7. Ookla's sample put that generation near 7.2 percent. A compatible node for the system you have beats a new logo if the complaint is a back bedroom.
The shop price is hardware. Placement is the extend-Wi-Fi visit.
