Review: 6 foot HDMI cable

The right length for a console directly under the television. Not a medal for the longest cable in the drawer.
Who it is for
The 6 foot HDMI cable is a 4K-rated lead for a TV, a soundbar, or a streaming box when the gear sits in the same console. Measure first. If the string test is under six feet with a little slack, this is the one.
It is the wrong cable for a cabinet on the other side of a doorway. That is the twelve-foot cable, or a plan that moves the gear.
What you should not pay for
A heavier connector does not send a better picture than a correctly rated cable. Buy the rating and the length. Skip the mystery gold tax.
One cable, one job. A drawer of unnamed six-foot leads is how the ARC port gets the wrong one. We label during hookup.
