Who it is for
The 12 foot HDMI cable is the longer 4K-rated run from a cabinet to a wall-mounted TV. Buy it when the six-foot lead cannot follow the path you will actually use, including dropping behind the console.
If you are tempted to buy twelve feet just in case for a TV that sits on the console, you will hate the coil. Buy six.
The path
Run it where it can be replaced. A cable pinched in a mount is not hidden. It is stuck. Concealment kits are a separate product when you want a short in-wall segment.
Test the picture before you dress the last foot. Swapping a buried failure is the expensive order.
Shop and labor
Add it to the mount or hookup booking so it arrives with the visit. The cable price is not the labor price.
ARC still uses the port the manual names. Length does not change which port speaks to the soundbar.
